I wonder what kind of symbolism they’re trying to get at

“There are a lot of giant robot shows in Japan, and we did want our story to have a religious theme to help distinguish us. Because Christianity is an uncommon religion in Japan we thought it would be mysterious. None of the staff who worked on Eva are Christians. There is no actual Christian meaning to the show, we just thought the visual symbols of Christianity look cool. If we had known the show would get distributed in the US and Europe we might have rethought that choice.” –Kazuya Tsurumaki, assistant director/art director on Neon Genesis Evangelion

eva is literally fake deep

#i love this tbh #like their treating christianity like white people treat buddhism and what not is such an unintentional fuck you

anime does that all the time lol. and honestly it’s great because the only good thing about christianity is the imagery, the drama, the pageantry.

THIS IS FUCKING I.N.S.A.N.E.

This is… a lot.

And Trans activists aren’t fascists… how, exactly?

This is just…bizarre. I guess when you get so used to lying and making up facts and figures to defend your atrocious behavior and hate speech, then you just eventually lose all perspective.

I’ve just discovered my new favorite painter, Vittorio Reggianini – those smarter than myself probably already know of him as an Italian painter from the 1800s who made satin look even satiny-er than satin. I just cannot get over how much he loved painting women who were NOT. HAVING. A. MAN’S. SHIT.

But there was one hottie that everyone seemed to like, and I can’t blame them…

Vittorio knows what the ladies like.
