I think I know why they’re so outraged about people misgendering rapists. Because they know we only use their choice of pronouns when we give them some amount of respect. Because without our willingness to comply and respect their pronouns, their whole made-up gender collapses in on itself. Because this is proof that gender is fake and we are able to acknowledge reality and only that tiny amount of respect sepparates them from the “misgendered” rapist, so they’re mad we don’t believe in their fantasy. They’d rather have all people be delusional and use chosen pronouns for human trash as well than them going “wait a minute! People are not as easily fooled as I used to believe. Unacceptable!”. This is why it’s a big issue with TRAs. They’re angry that we distinguish reality from fantasy, even if it’s with scumbags.
