guys i had an enlightening experience last night…..i went to take a shower and someone……fucking…….put crystals in each corner of our grody, slimy communal shower…..there’s hippie healing crystals in the nastiest shower on campus……..i’m fucking losing it i can’t take this school anymore
1. A sleeping medication – Not for everybody but sometimes a regular sleep cycle needs some chemical encouragement, especially if anxiety is keeping you awake. Take your meds, meditate to relax, drift away.
2. Dry shampoo – Too panicked/depressed/erratic to shower? Ashamed of going out in public with stringy greasy hair? Dry shampoo is the answer. Tresseme Dry Volumizing Dry Shampoo is my fave and it’s $5.
3. Kleenex and trash cans in every room – Real talk there is a lot of crying involved in Bipolar. Nothing says trainwreck like a trail of used tissues. Clean up and you’ll feel better.
4. Scented products like candles – Your life is trash but it smells like apple pie. It makes you think of a calm happy day.
5. Packaged salad mixes and ready to eat food – Sometimes cooking is too hard and it’s good to have things on hand that don’t involve prep.
6. Suicide Hotline – This is a no brainer. These people will listen because that’s their job. You might be low on friends and money but you can vent for free if you call the hotline.
7. Fun things under $5– On my absolute worst days I’ll spend a little money because I know it will make me happy. I try to keep it as cheap as I can so it doesn’t turn into a habit. I like bubbles, fries, coloring books, slime, keychains, catnip, and madlibs to start.
8. Library and online resources – Don’t be afraid to get informed about your disorder. Sometimes it’s relaxing to sit in a quiet place and read The Bipolar Survival Guide.
9. Mood tracking apps – This really helps with keeping tabs on your moods and predicting episodes. You can also set timers for pill reminders.
10. A little container with a couple day’s worth of pills in your purse – Nothing like realizing at work that you forgot to take your pills from the night before. Trying to decide whether to sleep over at your significant other’s place shouldn’t be a decision between sex and taking your meds. Keeping a small supply handy will ease your mind.
you do realise that being trans is a condition right. like it is in your brain capacity to know that to be trans you must have a mental illness called dysphoria. it aint that fucking hard to know.

What is your definition of a woman then? Ours is adult human female, with female meaning “of or denoting of the sex that can produce eggs or give birth”
According to the definition, transwomen are not female and therefore aren’t women. They’re just not. They’re dysphoric males.
We call transgender activism sexist because it relies on misogyny (see gendered and sexual “suck my dick” thread to women above) and defines women via a set of patriarchal stereotypes and not their physical reality.
What on earth do women and transwomen have in common?

Are you suggesting that being a woman has something to do with adhering to a stereotypical physical look? Should all women look a certain way?
The ones that are women are of or denoting of the sex that can produce eggs and give birth. Some men have surgery to appear more female. What’s your point?
What I’m saying is, can you find differences in these women based on if they’re trans or not. That’s what I’m saying. You said “what on earth and women and transwomen have in common”
So clearly your point is that some “passing” transwomen appear to be female and that’s what they have in common.
Are non-passing transwomen male? Do they have nothing in common with women?
