I’ve praised illiberal feminism its sound political and philosophical grounding but I have to call their tactics and incentives into question:

Listen. There is no way to dress like a woman. There’s no way to act like a woman. There’s no way to talk like a woman. Those are called gender roles and we don’t need to be enforcing those please.
Yes, you’re correct in that gender roles don’t need to be enforced. However, trans women try to use these gender roles to their advantage most of the time, and even “butch” trans women (gender-conforming straight men) will define “woman” as being something you can put on as a label. There are also numerous accounts where trans women have equated gender-based stereotypes to “being a woman”, such as “tits and makeup = woman!”, so you really can’t just handwave this just because it was posted by a woman who knows better than to pretend men are women.
You are still ignoring the fact that there is no way to speak, dress, and walk like an “actual woman”. Come on, you know this is bullshit, stop defending this just because they also hate trans people.
Except there is, and it’s a combination of our physical structure and our socialization from even before birth (you know, the socialization that makes our parents squeeze us into uncomfortable clothes, force us to be quiet when there’s a male in the room, etc). The same applies in reverse, because males have different physical structure and socialization from females. You’re just being obtuse on purpose just because you want to pretend there’s no basis in reality for why women can clock a trans woman as being male.

That’s not what I said, quit making stuff up just because we’re pointing out that you’re interpreting our words incorrectly. We are socialized a certain way, and males try to appropriate the results of this socialization — to defy that socialization is radical, that’s why people look down on GNC women and try to create narratives that squeeze them back into the gender roles that are applied to their sex.

^^^ fucking exactly. however i dress is “dressing like a woman” because I’m a female. i could wear clothes all from the men’s department and still be dressing like a woman. males can only ever imitate and delude themselves into thinking it’s the real thing. that’s why they become so enraged when the illusion is broken. their envy comes boiling back to the surface and they lash out at the targets of that envy.
